- Support the administration, renewal, and optimization of treaty and facultative reinsurance programs
- Coordinate treaty renewals with reinsurers and brokers while monitoring treaty utilization and retention levels
- Manage facultative reinsurance placements, negotiate terms, and recommend optimal placement structures
- Coordinate reinsurance recoveries, claims support, and reconciliation activities
- Prepare reinsurance reports, bordereaux, financial reconciliations, and regulatory submissions
- Maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, brokers, underwriting, finance, claims, and risk teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional qualifications such as ACII, ARe, CII, or equivalent are an advantage
- 5–8 years of insurance experience, including at least 3 years in reinsurance operations, treaty administration, facultative placements, or reinsurance accounting
- Experience within the UAE or GCC insurance market is preferred
- Strong knowledge of treaty and facultative reinsurance, underwriting, claims, and reinsurance accounting processes
- Familiarity with UAE insurance regulations and market practices
- Excellent analytical, reporting, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with insurance core systems and reinsurance platforms is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Role Overview
- We are hiring an Assistant Manager – Reinsurance for one of our clients, a leading insurance company in the UAE.
- This opportunity is ideal for an experienced reinsurance professional with expertise in treaty and facultative reinsurance, reinsurance recoveries, treaty administration, and stakeholder management within the insurance sector.
