About the Role
Worley is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer for oil and gas offshore projects in Doha. The role involves leading discipline engineering, ensuring quality, and implementing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
- Know the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assist the team to meet expectations, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project success
- Implement innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence
- Support Lead Engineer in monitoring quality activities, drive and participate in squad checking, recommend improvements, and take action where required
- Assist Project Team in project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules
- Create final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursue customer approval
- Review documentation to assist others and review/authorize work done by direct reports
- Evaluate new technology advancements against existing design standards and revise where applicable
- Identify and review new technology development which could be applicable in providing more cost effective facilities
- Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems
- Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures
- Promoting health, safety and environmental awareness
Requirements
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering from an accredited university
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement
- Vast experience in Instrumentation & Control engineering in oil and gas for offshore projects
- Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas
- Experience in Smart Plant / SPI
- Experienced in Instrument sizing calculation software including control valve sizing, Orifice sizing, voltage drop calculations, instrument air consumption calculations, power consumption and heat dissipation calculation
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering from an accredited university
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage.
Industry Specific Skills
- Vast experience Instrumentation & Control engineering experience in oil and gas for offshore projects
- Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas.
IT Skills
- Experience in Smart Plant / SPI.
- Experienced in Instrument sizing calculation software including control valve sizing, Orifice sizing, voltage drop calculations, Instrument air consumption calculations for pneumatic instruments, power consumption and heat dissipation calculation
