Responsibilities
- Supports standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates
- Contributes to understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications
- Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence
- Supports processes for checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments
- Ensures recognized onshore & offshore engineering practices applicable to process design are adopted
- Prepares design specifications for process works
- Supports management of project change and progressing for the discipline
- Plans discipline quality, monitors quality activities, recommends improvements
- Provides technical support within the discipline team and liaises with project team
- Coordinates review and approval of design and interfaces on client requirements
- Prepares Process scope of work (SoW) and estimates Process manhours
- Ensures all work is checked and approved before issue
Requirements
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is mandatory or willingness to achieve within probation
- Must have process engineering experience in oil and gas for offshore and onshore projects
- Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with experience in multi disciplinary projects
- Must have simulation & hydraulic experience

Quality Assurance
- Work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.
Safety
- Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures.
- Competent in implementing HSE in the design process, focuses on process safety.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
- MME engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement; candidates not holding accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage.
Industry Specific Experience
- Must have process engineering experience in oil and gas for offshore and onshore projects.
- Engineering experience in the same or similar industry, including experience in multi disciplinary projects and teams.
- Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas.
- Must have simulation & hydraulic experience.
