Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in the design, detailed engineering, and execution of liquid and gas custody transfer metering systems for oil & gas EPC projects.
The role covers the full project lifecycle, from FEED to detailed design, procurement support, construction, and commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Lead detailed instrumentation and electrical engineering for custody transfer metering packages
- Select, specify, and review flow, pressure, temperature, and level instruments
- Perform instrument sizing calculations in accordance with international standards
- Develop and review:
- P&IDs o Instrument hook-up drawings
- -Loop diagrams
- -System layouts
- -Prepare and review:
- Instrument data sheets
- -Specification sheets
- -Technical requisitions
- -Generate MTO/BOM and support cost estimation for E&I scope
- Prepare and review Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and related documents
- Review vendor documentation and ensure compliance with project and client specifications
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, control, and project teams
- Provide technical support during FAT, SAT, and commissioning
