Senior Infrastructure Engineer (DV Security Clearance)

Position Description:

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• In this role, you will design, build and manage secure, high-performing infrastructure environments that support critical defence and intelligence operations. You will take ownership of delivering robust platforms across virtualised, cloud and software-defined environments, contributing to solution design and influencing key technical decisions. Working closely with architecture, security and delivery teams, you will help shape resilient systems while continuously identifying opportunities to optimise, modernise and automate infrastructure services. You will play a key role in ensuring systems are reliable, scalable and aligned with strict security requirements, while also supporting complex troubleshooting and ongoing improvements. Your contributions will directly impact programme success, enabling innovative solutions in highly secure environments while being supported by a collaborative and forward-thinking team. • Build & Configure: Develop enterprise infrastructure environments across virtualised and cloud platforms • Deploy & Optimise: Implement and enhance VMware, VxRail and NSX-based solutions • Operate & Maintain: Manage day-to-day infrastructure operations, ensuring performance and availability • Architect & Secure: Design network and cross-domain solutions aligned to security standards • Support & Resolve: Provide 2nd/3rd line support and resolve complex infrastructure issues • Collaborate & Deliver: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, timely solutions • Automate & Improve: Identify optimisation opportunities and contribute to automation initiatives
