About the Role

Reef Group is seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist to manage and support HR operations for its growing UAE presence.

The role is based in Dubai and serves as the primary HR representative for the Dubai office.

The position connects UAE employees and management with the Human Resources Department at Reef Group Headquarters in Riyadh.

The role covers onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, attendance and leave, payroll coordination, documentation, government employment processes, and offboarding.

Position Facts

Core HR Operations

  • Manage day-to-day Human Resources operations for Reef Group in the UAE.
  • Implement Group HR policies, procedures, and initiatives across UAE operations.
  • Provide headquarters with updates on employee matters, workforce changes, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Escalate significant employee relations matters, policy exceptions, disciplinary cases, and critical HR issues when required.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, joining documentation, system access, orientation, and related arrangements.
  • Manage employee offboarding, clearances, documentation, and final procedures.
  • Maintain employee records, personnel files, employment contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Prepare employment contracts, salary certificates, employment letters, HR forms, and related documentation.

Compliance and Coordination

  • Coordinate visas, work permits, Emirates IDs, medical insurance, and other government employment processes.
  • Monitor attendance, leave balances, working schedules, and related HR records.
  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, employee changes, attendance, leave, deductions, allowances, and salary adjustments.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with UAE Labor Law, company policies, and Group HR standards.
  • Coordinate contract renewals, promotions, transfers, salary adjustments, confirmations, and other employment changes.
  • Monitor expiry dates for contracts, visas, work permits, Emirates IDs, insurance policies, and other employee documentation.
  • Support disciplinary and grievance processes with headquarters HR management.
  • Coordinate with Finance, IT, Administration, Government Relations, Talent Acquisition, and other departments.

Reporting and HR Support

  • Support recruitment activities, including candidate coordination, documentation, offers, and joining arrangements.
  • Ensure employee enrollment in applicable benefits and medical insurance programs.
  • Prepare periodic reports on headcount, turnover, attendance, leave, employee movements, and other HR metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, systems, and employee services.
  • Participate in Group HR projects, initiatives, and employee engagement activities within the UAE.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of employee information and HR records.
  • Maintain communication and alignment between the Dubai office and Reef Group Headquarters.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or an equivalent field.
  • Three to six years of relevant Human Resources experience with exposure to HR operations, employee relations, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong practical knowledge of UAE Labor Law and employment requirements.
  • Good understanding of employment contracts, visas, work permits, Emirates IDs, and related UAE employment requirements.
  • High confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, reporting, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple HR priorities in a fast-paced and growing organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Strong English and Arabic communication skills.

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM, CIPD, HRCI, or an equivalent qualification is advantageous.
  • Experience in a retail organization, large group, multi-entity organization, or fast-growing company is advantageous.
