Distribution Planning and Allocation
- Lead distribution plans across multiple warehouses, branches, countries, and sales channels.
- Develop allocation and replenishment plans based on demand, inventory, business priorities, and capacity.
- Determine requirements for retail stores, B2B, B2C, and e-commerce channels.
- Manage inventory allocation and inter-warehouse or inter-branch stock transfers.
- Set distribution priorities using sales performance, availability, market requirements, and growth plans.
Inventory and Replenishment
- Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment requirements across warehouses, branches, and channels.
- Analyze availability, slow-moving items, excess inventory, and stock-out risks.
- Develop replenishment strategies and identify inventory imbalances between locations.
- Recommend corrective allocation or transfer actions and support inventory optimization.
Cross-Functional Planning
- Coordinate with demand planning, supply planning, production, procurement, warehousing, logistics, sales, B2B, and e-commerce teams.
- Align distribution plans with forecasts, production plans, inventory targets, and business priorities.
- Support product launches, promotions, seasonal demand, and new store openings.
- Coordinate shipment readiness and execution with logistics and warehouse teams.
Network and Operational Improvement
- Improve planning processes, methodologies, allocation rules, and strategies for multi-warehouse, multi-country, and multi-channel networks.
- Analyze performance and improve service levels, inventory utilization, and operating costs.
- Develop data-driven planning models and analyze root causes of distribution deviations, stock-outs, and excess inventory.
Reporting and Performance
- Monitor product availability, plan accuracy, replenishment performance, stock-out rate, excess inventory, service level, inventory turnover, and on-time replenishment.
- Prepare management reports on distribution performance, inventory status, shortages, excess stock, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5–7 years of relevant distribution, replenishment, inventory, or supply chain planning experience.
- Experience in retail, FMCG, beauty, e-commerce, or multi-channel environments.
- Experience with multi-location distribution planning and DRP, replenishment, inventory allocation, and stock transfer planning.
- Experience with ERP, WMS, and supply chain planning systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
Preferred Experience
- Multi-country or regional distribution network experience is preferred.
- Experience supporting retail, B2B, B2C, and e-commerce channels or large-scale retail networks is preferred.
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, or Odoo is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory optimization, replenishment methodologies, and distribution planning tools is preferred.
