Responsibilities
- Promote a Safety First culture and implement EHSS management system
- Conduct comprehensive geological assessments and surveys to define advanced exploration targets
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to optimize exploration strategies
- Collect, analyze, and interpret geological data from drill core samples, geophysical data, and remote sensing imagery
- Prepare accurate technical reports including exploration progress reports and geological interpretations
- Stay up to date with industry developments and recommend new technologies
- Supervise field teams executing exploration and geotechnical drilling programs
- Train geoscientists and field personnel in drill program management and geological logging
- Compile and report drill program metrics to stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing workflow enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Geoscience discipline from an accredited institution
- Over 7 years of relevant experience in mining and minerals industry, preferably in exploration
- Demonstrated experience in target generation, grassroots exploration, and/or project execution
- Hands on exploration experience in Porphyry Cu Au and/or VHMS, and/or Magmatic Ni Cu systems
- Proven ability to train geoscientists and field personnel in drill program execution
- Experience in data management practices, including conducting regular quality control checks
- Capability to compile and report drill program metrics to stakeholders
- Extensive hands on GIS experience (preferably ArcPro)
- Extensive 3D modelling experience (preferably Leapfrog)
- Excellent technical written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English

Job Purpose
- Provide technical support and expertise in geology to support Exploration and Resource Development (ERD) operation.
- Work closely with geologists, engineers, and other technical professionals to ensure the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of exploration operations.
- Contribute to meeting corporate Strategy 2040 focusing on areas with highest geological potential.
Key Accountabilities

- Prepare accurate and comprehensive technical reports.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and recommend new technologies.
- Direct supervision of field teams executing exploration and geotechnical drilling programs.
- Training geoscientists and field personnel in drill program management and geological logging.
- Compile and report drill program metrics to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing workflow enhancements.
- Update procedural documentation and collaborate with Geoscience community.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Geoscience discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in target generation, grassroots exploration, and/or project execution.
- Solid understanding of the mineral discovery process.
- Practical experience with geological characteristics of Cu, Ni, Zn, Li, Ag, Au, and REE systems.
- Hands on exploration experience in Porphyry Cu Au and/or VHMS, and/or Magmatic Ni Cu systems.
- Proven ability to train geoscientists and field personnel.
- Experience in data management practices including quality control checks.
- Capability to compile and report drill program metrics.
- Track record of implementing workflow improvements.
- Experience in updating procedural documentation.
- Collaborative approach to working with Geoscience community.
Skills
- Knowledge of JORC and N143 401 standards for mineral sampling.
- Broad experience in QA/QC.
- Exceptional technical skills across geosciences.
- Knowledge of industry standard software for geological modeling.
- Knowledge and experience in interpretation of geological structures.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Become safety advocate.
- Extensive hands on GIS experience (preferably Arcpro).
