Responsibilities
- Consistently delivers on all service level agreements
- Ensure effective execution of operations/maintenance activities
- Manage and control costs (where allocated budget responsibility is assigned)
- During emergency situations, evaluate abnormalities and take corrective action to avoid downtime, equipment damage and/or HSERQ incidents
- Ensure own team adhere to operational/maintenance procedures
- Ensure maintenance planning is scheduled optimally to maximise production output
- Take action on first occurrence performance problems, misconduct, disciplinary and grievance cases
- Manage performance, training and career development of own team
- Accountable for practical 'declaration of competence' of employees to operate the plant
- Drive Ma'aden Safety Culture Transformation Program
- Manage certain start up and shutdown tasks
- Participate in potential deviation analysis (PDA), root cause analysis (RCA) and risk assessments
Requirements
- High school certificate
- 7 years experience in relevant field of Artisan/Production
- Acute safety awareness and attitude
- Proven management and leadership skills
- Advanced knowledge of safety procedures (e.g., risk assessments, root cause analysis, deviation analysis)
- Proficient competence in work permit procedures
- Subject matter expert on the specific discipline / plant systems
- Competent in using applicable technology software and/or systems
- Advanced competence interpreting regulations and codes; reading ISO drawings Mechanical/Electrical/Instruments flow diagrams and/or other technical drawings
- Full physical mobility, and ability to work in confined spaces and/or at heights

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
- Accountable for first line leadership and management of (specific discipline) team members to enable the work of self and team members and building their expertise and skills, and deliver frontline team results such as safety, production, maintenance, quality, cost and motivation.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- High school certificate
- Maths and Science preferred
- Trade test / Formal Production qualification
- 7 Years experience in relevant field of Artisan/Production
