Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (.NET & TypeScript)

Position Description:

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• In this role, you will join a skilled delivery team responsible for enhancing and evolving a live digital service used by our key UK Government Department Client. You'll develop new functionality, improve existing capabilities, and help deliver frequent, high-quality releases that provide tangible value to users. Working closely with CGI colleagues and client stakeholders, you'll contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs. You'll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, share best practice, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative delivery. As a senior member of the team, you'll take ownership of your work while supporting colleagues and helping drive successful project outcomes. Key responsibilities • Design & Develop high-quality features using .NET and JavaScript/TypeScript technologies. • Build & Deliver secure, scalable cloud-native applications hosted on AWS. • Collaborate & Engage with client stakeholders and multidisciplinary delivery teams. • Contribute & Improve application architecture, coding standards and engineering best practices. • Develop & Maintain APIs, backend services and user-facing functionality. • Support & Optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and modern DevOps practices. • Work & Innovate within an Agile delivery environment, contributing to sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives. • Mentor & Share knowledge with colleagues, promoting continuous learning across the team.
