Senior Fire Project Estimation Engineer

Position

Sales Support and Design

• Visit clients and understand requirements for green-field and brown-field projects.
• Prepare concept drawings in 2D AutoCAD according to NBC, FM Global, and NFPA norms.
• Prepare fire-system estimates and BOQs and present proposed plants to clients.

Project Coordination

• Prepare DBRs, concept drawings, tender drawings, BOQs, estimates, tender documents, bids, tender evaluations, shop-drawing approvals, inspections, and completion certificates.
• Prepare 2D, 3D, and isometric drawings and lead projects from DBR through electrical work-completion certification.
• Schedule and track projects using Microsoft Office or Google Sheets.
• Coordinate with designers and clients for design bases, technical inputs, and drawing approvals.
• Review designer documents and drawings, modify them when required, and incorporate statutory, client, and site requirements.
• Submit drawings for statutory approvals, conduct site inspections, resolve site issues, and report project status.
• Monitor project costs, control expenditure, and certify billing.

Installation and System Audits

• Check and approve third-party vendor drawings.
• Certify fire-system installations and witness testing at site for commissioning.
• Audit existing fire-system installations and perform gap analysis.
• Submit project status information to management.

Desired Profile

• Strong technical knowledge of fire hydrant, fire sprinkler, pump-house, and fire detection systems.
• Knowledge of selecting and sizing pumps, sprinklers, and pipes.
• Working knowledge of NBC, NFPA, and FM Global standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Spring Calc, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.
• Good leadership and communication skills, including the ability to explain and justify design and project costing.

Experience and Education

• Minimum and maximum stated work experience is 3 to 4 years.
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant-field experience is stated; postgraduate qualification is not mandatory.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay is ₹35,000–₹45,000 per month.
• Benefits include health insurance, leave encashment, life insurance, and provident fund.

Location and Work Arrangement

• Job location is Pune or another location as required by the business.
• Work location is in person, with reliable commuting or willingness to relocate to Pune, Maharashtra.
