Position Overview
Manager responsible for integrating engineering oversight, strategic sourcing, supplier networks, and end-to-end supply chain execution.
The role is part of senior leadership for technical and supply chain operations and has one vacancy.
Compensation
- Compensation is ₹60,000 to ₹1,00,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategies for technical procurement, material logistics, inventory management, and vendor relations across projects.
- Review architectural and structural engineering designs and bills of materials and value-engineer materials to optimize project yields and margins.
- Establish supplier partnerships and negotiate long-term framework contracts with glass manufacturers, extrusion mills, and hardware suppliers.
- Oversee material forecasting, warehouse inventory, logistics channels, and site delivery schedules.
- Lead and mentor technical, purchasing, and logistics teams, set KPIs, and drive process improvements.
- Work with project management, commercial, and finance teams to track project cost-to-complete metrics and material variances.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- B.Tech or B.E. in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 8 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, technical sourcing, and structural or engineering procurement.
- Experience in construction or façade sectors.
- Contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, advanced risk management, team leadership, and deep technical product knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or MBA in Operations or Supply Chain Management.
- Bachelor’s degree is identified as preferred in a separate education field, while the role qualifications specify an engineering degree.
