Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview

Key Result Areas

• Analyze financial results, monitor P&L variances, and identify trends for actionable insights.
• Prepare reports evaluating financial risks and ROI for management decisions.
• Prepare business and feasibility studies for projects, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Track process improvement and policy development initiatives for effectiveness and alignment.
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and perform process analysis.
• Consolidate budgets, income statement forecasts, and other financial data for monthly budget-holder discussions.
• Prepare weekly reports on catering, hospitality, and aviation industry trends.
• Assess the financial impact of buy versus hire and outsource versus in-house decisions.
• Prepare presentations and progress reports on business performance and capital expenditure projects.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration is required.
• An MBA, ACA, CPA, or CFA, or progress toward such a qualification, is preferred.

Work Experience

• Minimum five years of experience in a relevant field is required.
• Big Four audit and forensic accounting experience is preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency using ERP systems and Excel for analysis.
• Knowledge of current financial subjects, tax laws, money markets, and the business environment.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
