Part-time Senior Finance Officer role based in Abu Dhabi.
The role is hybrid, with flexibility to perform some duties from home.
The position oversees financial reporting and supports accurate, compliant, decision-useful financial information.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting processes and prepare and review financial statements.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Analyze financial performance and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare management reports for leadership.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
- Provide clear financial insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong finance and financial reporting skills, including budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Solid knowledge of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Advanced analytical skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
- Clear and professional communication skills for presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in a senior finance role is preferred, ideally in partnerships, sports, or small business environments.
- Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheets, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- A relevant qualification such as a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is advantageous.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are advantageous.
- Familiarity with hybrid work settings is noted in the qualifications.
Workplace Arrangement
- The role is based in Abu Dhabi and allows some duties to be performed from home.
