Role Purpose
The Senior Finance Analyst will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and performance analysis across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels.
The role provides financial insights, identifies business risks and opportunities, supports strategic decisions, and contributes to improved financial performance.
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Build and maintain annual budgets, monthly budgets, and rolling forecasts across channels, brands, and stores.
- Track performance against budget, forecast, and prior year and identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly P&L analysis by channel, brand, and store, including variance analysis.
- Develop KPI dashboards for sales, margins, operating expenses, and inventory.
- Provide financial insights and scenario analysis for management decisions.
Management Reporting and Support
- Prepare monthly management reporting packs and presentations for business reviews and leadership meetings.
- Work with accounting during month-end close, including accruals and analytical reviews.
- Support new store feasibility studies, lease renewals, and investment cases.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and decision support to management.
Systems and Process Improvement
- Improve financial models and automate recurring reports using Excel, Power BI, and AI tools.
- Support ERP and BI system enhancements and maintain accurate financial master data.
- Document reporting and financial processes for consistency, efficiency, and auditability.
Skills and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CIMA, ACCA, CA, or CFA qualification is preferred.
- 5–8 years of FP&A or commercial finance experience, with retail experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills are essential.
- Microsoft Dynamics or similar major ERP experience is required.
- Power BI or similar business intelligence experience is advantageous.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and commercial skills are required.
