DU T IES & RESP O NS I BI L IT I ES

1. Checking t he installation & Commissioning o f the New installed L V ABB Drives ( A CS880, ACS580, AC S 800, (AC S 800 , AC S 550 , AC S M1, DCS500, A CS350, (ACS1000 , ACS2000, A CS5000, A CS6000, ACS680, ACS8080, ACS580 MV, AC S 800, AC S 550, ACSM1 , DCS500, A CS350…etc.), f or the ongoing industrial projec t s area and reporting the com- missioning W orks to the Customer, ABB installed base and service manager.

2. Servicing the Faulty ABB medium Vol t age and Low Drives ( ACS1000 , ACS2000 , A CS5000, A CS6000 , ACS680, ACS8080, ACS580 MV, AC S 800, AC S 800, AC S 550, ACSM1 , DCS500, A CS350…etc.) , Ordering & replacing t he faulty parts (boards , IG B TS , Thyristors ….etc.) and reporting the warran t y Cases to the manufacturer .

3. performing the p r eventive maintenance of Di f ferent types of AB B Drives (ACS1000, A CS2000, ACS6000 , ACS500, AC S 880, A CS800, A CS550 …etc.) and MV Drives

4. Sizing , Selec t ing the LV & MV A BB drives as well as their options ( S/W ) based on Customer’s machine and installa t ion requirements & Configuring them based on Customer application and Control scheme Using ABB sof t wa r e (Drive window , Drive window light , Drive studio Drive Size).

5. Reporting the customer satis f action level , claims, recommendation and technical issues regarding AB B d r ives to the BU management . Contribute E f fec t ively in promoting the AB B p r oduct and boosting the sales of A BB drives .

6. Enginee r ing t he Sys t em I n t er f ace for the Drives Upgrade and Re t ro f it t ing P r o j ects as well as for the New installed Drives Project .

7. Ability t o Do Root Cause analysis for Customer Failu r e

8. T es t ing , Commissioning and T roubleshoo t ing the Medium Vol t age Variable f r equency D rives , ( Experienced , Certified on ABB Product (Medium Voltage V a r iable frequency Drives, ACS6000 , A CS1000, A CS2000, AC S 5000, AC S 580 MV, ACS6080 ).

9. Ability to W ork under pressure and to ability to T ravel to and work in Remote sites for long time.

10. Certified as per AB B Motion Upskills on P r oducts (AC S 1000, ACS2000, AC S 5000, AC S 6000 , ACS6080 , A CS580 M V ).

11. Expe r t in A CS500 P LC T r oubleshooting.

12. Employee shall also car r y out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary t o fulfil the j ob requirements.
