Role Purpose
The Senior Facultative Broker supports the Broking and Technical Placement team.
The role delivers facultative and treaty reinsurance solutions for Shory Re clients.
The broker designs, markets, and executes placements aligned with client risks, governance requirements, and FSRA standards.
Reinsurance Placement and Market Liaison
- Source, negotiate, and secure facultative placements in core business lines.
- Build relationships with A-rated global reinsurers and Lloyd’s syndicates.
- Expand Shory Re’s reinsurance market footprint and product offering.
- Develop new facultative capacity in line with company growth objectives.
Technical Documentation and Administration
- Prepare and validate slips, cover notes, and other reinsurance agreements.
- Maintain auditable placement files with client approvals and market communications.
- Ensure documentation meets regulatory and internal governance standards.
