Job Purpose
Support the organization's financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and providing timely financial insights for business decisions.
What You'll Do
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and keep financial records accurate and up to date.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare tax documentation and support compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Analyze financial data and generate ad hoc reports for business and management requirements.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
- Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial reports with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
