Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) initiatives across business operations
- Assist in conducting workplace inspections, risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Support incident investigations and contribute to the development of preventative and corrective actions
- Monitor compliance with HSE policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Assist in emergency preparedness activities, including drills, exercises and response planning
- Maintain HSE records, reports and documentation, ensuring accurate tracking of incidents and performance metrics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors and service providers to promote a strong safety culture
- Support environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management, resource conservation and environmental compliance programmes
- Participate in awareness campaigns, training sessions and workshops that promote health, safety and environmental best practices
- Assist in monitoring contractor and service provider HSE performance and escalate risks where necessary
Requirements
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above (or equivalent)
- Completion or exemption of UAE National Service (if applicable)
- Ability to communicate effectively and proficiently in English
- UAE Nationals are encouraged to apply
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental / Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Interest in workplace safety, sustainability and risk management

Essential Qualifications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above (or equivalent)
- Completion or exemption of UAE National Service (if applicable)
- Ability to communicate effectively and proficiently in English
- Involvement in extra curricular activities or community initiatives during university
- UAE Nationals are encouraged to apply
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental / Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Interest in workplace safety, sustainability and risk management
Desired Qualifications
- Internship or project experience related to health, safety, environmental management or engineering
- Understanding of HSE principles, risk assessments and incident investigation methodologies
- Familiarity with international HSE standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and collaborative environment
- Strong reporting, presentation and stakeholder management skills
