Responsibilities
- Handle end to end accounting activities for the retail business, including sales accounting, receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger scrutiny
- Monitor daily retail sales reconciliation with POS/system reports and ensure timely accounting of cash, card, online, and other collection modes
- Reconcile retail store collections, bank deposits, and merchant settlements, and follow up on discrepancies
- Support month end and year end closing activities, including provisions, accruals, and preparation of MIS reports
- Prepare and maintain schedules for receivables, payables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other balance sheet items
- Coordinate with stores and internal stakeholders to ensure proper documentation, approvals, and compliance with finance policies
- Assist in VAT related data preparation, audit support, and statutory compliance requirements
- Monitor retail inventory accounting, stock adjustments, and related reconciliations
- Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, expense analysis, and management reporting for the retail business
Requirements
- Experience in end to end accounting for retail business
- Strong knowledge of sales reconciliation and month end closing
- Experience with VAT compliance and audit support
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office

Key Responsibilities
