About the Company
Freedom Broker Global Markets is expanding its UAE presence through a new mainland brokerage licensed by the Capital Market Authority.
The company is completing the CMA licensing process and intends to provide global financial products and investment services.
About the Role
The Senior Equity Research Analyst will join the Equity Research team in Abu Dhabi.
The role supports a research platform covering more than 350 U.S.-listed equities and distributed through Bloomberg and other financial platforms.
The position owns company and sector coverage, investment recommendations, and research for an international professional audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fundamental research on UAE-listed companies within the assigned sector.
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and valuation frameworks.
- Develop evidence-based investment recommendations.
- Monitor industry trends, company catalysts, and macroeconomic factors.
- Engage with company management and investor relations teams.
- Participate in earnings calls, investor events, and expert discussions.
- Present investment ideas internally and contribute commentary to financial media.
- Mentor junior analysts and help strengthen research quality.
- Integrate Shariah-compliant metrics into the valuation process.
- Comply with applicable company policies, laws, regulations, guidelines, and technical standards.
Candidate Requirements
- UAE Financial Rules and Regulations qualification is essential.
- International Certification in Wealth and Investment Management, Level 3, is essential.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment analysis, or investment strategy is required.
- Strong UAE market expertise and advanced financial modelling, valuation, and accounting skills are required.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP or IFRS and advanced written and spoken English are required.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- Fluent Arabic is a plus.
- Bloomberg or FactSet experience is preferred.
- CFA Program participation or a PhD is an advantage.
