Job Description

• We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Engineer - QA/QC to join our organization in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
• In this role, you will lead quality assurance and quality control initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of software excellence.
• You will be responsible for designing comprehensive testing strategies, managing test execution, and driving continuous improvement in our quality processes.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and programming languages
• Execute both manual and automated testing across multiple platforms and environments to identify defects and ensure product quality
• Analyze test results and defect reports, providing detailed documentation and recommendations for resolution
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Manage defect tracking and prioritization using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution
• Develop and optimize performance and load testing strategies to validate system scalability and reliability
• Conduct API testing and database validation to ensure data integrity and system functionality
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the development of testing best practices and standards
• Participate in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline optimization
• Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate quality status to stakeholders
• Stay current with emerging testing technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance team capabilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in QA/QC engineering or software testing
• Advanced proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies and best practices
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking and management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles
• Demonstrated expertise in test case design, execution, and documentation
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent)
• Proficiency in API testing and RESTful web services validation
• Working knowledge of SQL and database testing techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in both independent and collaborative team environments
• Preferred: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Preferred: Knowledge of mobile application testing frameworks and methodologies
• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Preferred: Experience mentoring or leading QA teams
