Senior Engineer, Asset Integrity (Process Safety)

Investigations and Reporting

• Review integrity reports, track remedial actions and ensure outstanding issues are recorded in Asset Integrity Management databases.
• Analyze and communicate integrity threat trends to field personnel, management and relevant stakeholders.
• Lead asset integrity incident investigations, root cause analyses and corrective and preventive actions.
• Issue integrity reports covering inspection and corrosion findings, mitigation recommendations and implementation status.
• Ensure chemical treatment programs for internal corrosion control are implemented and evaluated.
• Analyze intelligent pipeline and facility inspection data and recommend inspection or repair programs.
• Conduct technical investigations into metallurgical failures and deterioration of static equipment and pipelines.

Asset Integrity Management

• Manage interfaces between functions for asset integrity and act as technical advisor for Facility Integrity Management.
• Support the Asset Integrity Management Program for Al Dhafra Petroleum Operating Company.
• Coordinate with Projects, Drilling and Site Operations to ensure well barriers are designed, established and maintained throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Lead integrity projects, anomaly investigations, troubleshooting, maintenance and surveillance planning.
• Participate in HAZOP and risk assessments related to well changes or problems affecting integrity.
• Incorporate lessons learned into asset and well integrity strategies for existing and future projects.

Field and Team Activities

• Conduct onshore field and site visits for operations representation, compliance audits and new development project input.
• Attend vendor workshops to witness activities or conduct audits on behalf of the company.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate assigned activities and train staff on relevant skills.
• Provide input to functional budgets, monitor variances and support approved work plans.
• Prepare periodic management reports on asset issues, risk registers, KPIs and maintenance and inspection activities.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in petroleum engineering activities related to asset integrity management, investigations, risk assessment, risk ranking and mitigation planning.
• Strong understanding of PIMS, SIMS, corrosion integrity, maintenance and inspection, well integrity and operating integrity processes.
• Thorough understanding of asset construction and completion design, with demonstrable experience in maintenance and integrity philosophies and practices.
• Good knowledge of offshore and onshore asset integrity management in a large oil and gas environment.

Site and Stakeholder Engagement

• The role includes onshore field trips and site visits to verify asset and well integrity compliance, support projects and attend vendor activities.
• The role coordinates with internal functions, ADNOC Group companies, contractors, PMCs and service providers.
