About the Role
Bureau Veritas is seeking a Senior E&I Inspector with 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. The role involves inspection of electrical power distribution systems, instrumentation, and control systems.

Responsibilities
- Inspect construction and Brownfield modifications to electric power distribution systems up to 33 KV
- Liaise with EPC Contractors, Manufacturers and Client representatives during FAT and SAT of electric equipment and instrumentation equipment
- Interpret and apply EPC Contractor and Vendor design documentation in construction, testing and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems in DCS
- Ensure compliance with ISO and other International Standards
- Write technical reports in English
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries as an inspector in the construction of new and Brownfield modifications
- Experience with 33 KV, 11kV, 3.3 kV and 415 V electric power distribution systems, switchgear, control gear, distribution boards, UPS, earthing & lighting, underground cabling, cathodic protection, lighting and small power distribution systems
- Proven experience in liaising with EPC Contractors, Manufacturers and Client representatives during FAT and SAT of electric equipment and instrumentation equipment
- Experience in interpreting and applying EPC Contractor and Vendor design documentation in the construction, testing and commissioning of all instrumentation and control systems in DCS including modifications to existing ESD, Fire and Gas systems and control room architecture
- Good knowledge of ISO and other International Standards
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language including writing of technical reports
- Computer literate and familiarity with codes ASME, AWS, API, DNV, ISO and BS
