Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software for a variety of construction and landscaping projects
- Translate design concepts, sketches, and specifications into accurate construction drawings
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Conduct site visits to collect measurements, verify dimensions, and update drawings as required
- Prepare shop drawings, as built drawings, and material take offs
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and company standards
- Maintain updated drawing records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Support the technical team with drafting related tasks and revisions as necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, architectural, and landscaping scopes
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 8 10 years of proven drafting experience in civil, construction, residential, or landscaping projects
- High proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D)
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, building systems, and site coordination
- Excellent technical drafting skills and knowledge of construction practices

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

- High proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, or other design software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, building systems, and site coordination.
- Familiarity with project documentation tools like ProjectWise or similar is desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent technical drafting skills and knowledge of construction practices.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in drawing preparation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and survey data.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good time management and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
- Knowledge of landscape design principles, utilities, and civil structures is an added advantage.
