Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a Senior Director, Platform Programs & Portfolio for the Platform Services & Emerging Technologies organization.
The role defines and scales execution strategy and the operating model for complex platform initiatives from strategy through delivery and customer impact.
The position reports to the VP, Platform Next and partners with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and Data leaders.
Responsibilities
- Define scalable delivery operating models, planning frameworks, governance, and collaboration practices across PSET.
- Make the technical program management and portfolio practice AI-native through tooling and decision-support systems.
- Lead the TPM and Portfolio organization and strengthen leadership across prioritization, cross-functional execution, PDLC practices, and stakeholder alignment.
- Provide executive-ready visibility into program health, progress, capacity, risks, milestones, and cross-team dependencies.
- Drive portfolio prioritization, sequencing, trade-offs, capacity visibility, investment assessment, and risk governance.
- Oversee complex platform initiatives from problem framing and planning through delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Serve as senior escalation authority for complex cross-organizational issues and coordinate resolution with VP and EVP stakeholders.
