Are you ready to turn AI strategy into measurable commercial outcomes that elevate how we reach and support patients across fast-evolving markets?
From a leadership seat in Dubai, you will connect senior regional priorities with cutting-edge AI delivery to shape how our field, marketing, access and medical teams engage customers and make decisions at speed.
In this role, you act as the embedded translator between regional business leaders and our AI organization, owning the lifecycle of high-impact AI solutions—from idea to adoption to value realization.
You will sit with regional leadership, partner closely with enterprise AI and technology teams, and lead the charge on AI programs that power next-best engagement, dynamic insights and agentic platforms.
How would you convert complex, cross-market needs into scalable AI programs that deliver clear ROI and sustained business value?
Accountabilities
- **Customer Engagement**: Lead the transformation of Interational go-to-market model across personal and non-personal channels — commercial operations, salesforce excellence in partnership with the therapy areas, and digital and omnichannel — to improve effectiveness, drive personalization, and lift the impact of customer engagement.
- **Strategy and Portfolio Ownership:** Own the regional portfolio of AI commercial programs; create and sequence a clear roadmap aligned to business, medical, access and R&D priorities; develop business cases and value narratives; embed reuse principles to scale what works.
- **Use Case Translation:** Engage senior stakeholders to surface unmet needs and decision points; translate them into well-scoped AI use cases with clear problem statements, success metrics, data requirements, and risk tiering; align to strategic focus areas including AI30.
- **Delivery, Scale and Value Realization**: Co-lead solution delivery with enterprise AI teams; shape pilots, manage scaled deployments and local adoption; define and track KPIs and ROI; apply appropriate evidence frameworks; remediate or decommission where needed.
- **Change Leadership and Ways of Working**: Lead structured stakeholder engagement; embed AI into day-to-day operations, moving beyond one-off pilots; identify process and role shifts and work with functional leaders to implement them; partner with learning teams to build AI literacy.
- **Data, Governance and Compliance**: Serve as regional point of contact to ensure AI-ready data and compliance with enterprise standards and local regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, AI Act, SaMD); adhere to governance requirements including registry-before-scale, model/data cards, ongoing monitoring and human-in-the-loop oversight.
- **Partnerships and Ecosystem:** Co-develop programs with Commercial AI and Global Business Services; establish clear remits and hand-offs across enterprise teams; build a delivery culture grounded in shared purpose, psychological safety and accountability.
- **Integration with Enterprise AI:** Act as the primary interface to capability teams across customer and patient engagement, data science and analytics, and platform engineering, ensuring clarity on ownership, priorities and transitions from build to run.
- **Market Sensing and Foresight:** Scan internal and external trends; track market and innovation shifts to anticipate opportunities and risks; spot and shape new enterprise initiatives; define leading indicators to monitor progress and pivot decisively.
- **Near-term to Broader Impact:** In the first 90 days, assess demand, set the roadmap and launch priority pilots; in 6–12 months, scale adoption across markets, demonstrate ROI and codify reuse; over time, institutionalize AI-enabled ways of working that accelerate growth and improve patient outcomes.
