About the Role
SailPoint is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for its UAE region to support the Identity Security Cloud platform. You will perform data store operations and DevOps work, collaborating with Engineering and Product teams.

Responsibilities
- Perform DevOps work in the UAE region for the Identity Security Cloud platform
- Proactively work with Engineering, Product, Services, and other functional departments to implement and operate global customer facing SaaS infrastructure
- Perform data store operations and DevOps work for product running in the UAE region
- Work closely with Software Engineers and DevOps Engineers
- Partner with leaders at all levels across the organization on making product work while meeting data sovereignty requirements
Requirements
- Experience in 24x7 production operations, preferably supporting a highly available environment for a SaaS or cloud service provider
- Experience with cloud infrastructure environments, preferably AWS
- Experience with Kubernetes and tools like ArgoCD
- Experience deploying and maintaining databases and distributed data stores: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, S3, DynamoDB, Kafka
- Experience with Machine Learning and data tools such as Apache Airflow and Flink
- Release automation (Jenkins, etc), system administration, system configuration, and system debugging experience
- Experience using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform)
- Strong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong interpersonal and teaming skills
- Ability to operate in an agile, entrepreneurial start up environment

Roadmap For Success
- Within first 30 days: Onboard, get familiar with product offering and technology, meet peers and stakeholders, set up test and development environment.
- By 90 days: Collaborate on projects, be fully integrated with the team, join on call rotation, become an expert on how the SailPoint ISC product operates.
- By 6 months: Own and implement projects to successfully operate on data stores in an environment with restricted access, become a subject matter expert on data stores, independently handle on call incidents, collaborate with other teams, proactively meet standards for information security and compli
Background & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
