About the Role
CodeNinja is seeking a hands-on Senior Development Lead with expertise in low-level design, Java Spring Boot, microservices, API development and security, and React JS.
The role is a player-coach position combining team leadership with architecture discussions, design, coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical delivery.
The successful candidate will drive scalable, secure, and high-quality application development.
Technical Leadership and Design
- Lead technical design and development of complex applications and digital platforms.
- Translate architecture and business requirements into detailed low-level designs.
- Review designs for scalability, maintainability, security, and performance.
- Drive engineering best practices, design patterns, coding standards, and reusable components.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve complex issues and blockers.
Backend and API Engineering
- Design and develop Java and Spring Boot microservices and RESTful backend services.
- Define microservice communication, resilience, logging, monitoring, transactions, caching, and event-driven patterns.
