- Senior Design Manager - Infrastructure (Wet Utilities) - PMC role
- Dubai, UAE (with regular Abu Dhabi site involvement to begin with)
- A leading PMC consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Design Manager – Infrastructure for a large-scale master-planned island villa development in Abu Dhabi.
- This is a long-term opportunity based in Dubai, with several days per week initially required on site in Abu Dhabi.
- The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work across multiple future developments from the Dubai head office as the project pipeline continues to grow.
- The role will oversee full infrastructure design management across a major island-based development, including:
- Wet utilities
- Sewerage & drainage networks
- Pump stations
- Utilities and bridge interface coordination
- The key focus for this position is strong wet utilities technical expertise.
- We are specifically looking for someone who started their career as a hands-on wet utilities designer before progressing into design management, with the technical capability to identify design and authority challenges before submission stages.
Requirements
- Strong wet utilities design background
- Previous experience with an international consultant / PMC
- Abu Dhabi project experience is essential
- Strong technical leadership and coordination skills
- Experience managing authority approvals and stakeholder coordination
- Strong understanding of sewer design, drainage, pump stations and utility interfaces
- Ability to challenge technical solutions and authority comments where required
- Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure packages within master-planned developments
