Role Overview
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work on some of the most intriguing challenges that Lendi Group faces. You will be tasked to solve these challenges using advanced analytics, machine learning, agentic AI, and broader data science techniques in an agile environment. You will not only develop the models but will also be instrumental in end-to-end solution creation, including the productionisation, automation, and implementation of these models in the respective business unit. So, we are not looking for a lone wolf, we are looking for a team player who thrives working with others – within the DNA team and across a broad breadth of stakeholders.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will take on business problems which have a direct impact on customers and the business. Including; Financial and valuation modelling, Personalisation, growth and retention and more.
Work with large datasets and feature store to gain insights, train predictive models and measure results.
Be involved in the full product life cycle.
Develop scalable and innovative ML solutions
Learn and implement latest AI and ML techniques.
Develop relationships with product managers and other stakeholders to influence business outcomes
Collaborate with the data team, reviewing solutions, sharing knowledge, and improving coding standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gain a complete understanding of the problem to be solved and to implement the models to achieve desired outcomes.
Collaborate with external stakeholders.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and budget.
Ensure documentation of the proposed solutions.
Actively participate in improving ML Ops practices and standards
Commercial experience as a Data Scientist or related working experience, e.g., Machine Learning Engineer
Expertise in machine learning algorithms and demonstrable expertise in mathematical fundamentals
Experience in the full lifecycle of developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in the cloud, such as Databricks
Demonstrated experience writing high-quality Python code, R or Scala.
Exposure to data visualisation libraries and products (e.g., PowerBI, Streamlit) and working in a DevOps environment (e.g., Git,dbt)
