Join a multidisciplinary engineering team designing, developing and deploying AI systems for property, mortgage broking and financial services.
Work at the intersection of AI, data, software engineering and financial services within a team focused on AI-driven initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain and support scalable data pipelines using modern data engineering practices and Agile delivery.
- Apply data analysis, modelling, solution design and architecture principles to new and existing pipelines and models.
- Develop and deploy cloud-based data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, S3, PostgreSQL and related ETL tools.
- Use cloud infrastructure and CI/CD tooling including AWS, Terraform and Docker.
- Optimise pipelines and BI solutions for performance, scalability and reliability.
- Maintain data governance, quality, accuracy and completeness.
- Create technical documentation, support incident resolution and contribute to design guides and training materials.
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists and business stakeholders and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- At least three years of data engineering experience with modern development practices.
- Proficiency in SQL with a cloud data warehouse and experience with ETL tools and processes.
- Familiarity with SQL and Python.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, data governance and data quality practices.
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience or interest in AI, emerging technologies and greenfield work.
