Role Overview
The Senior Data Engineering Lead will define and deliver a modern cloud-based data platform for analytics, AI, and business decision-making.
The role reports to the Director of Engineering and is based in Hyderabad.
The role leads multidisciplinary engineering teams and shapes data platform strategy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable batch and streaming data platforms for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.
- Manage and mentor teams across Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, and DevOps.
- Establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and delivery roadmaps.
- Build reliable data pipelines with governance, observability, security, and data quality practices.
- Drive AWS cloud platform modernization, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and event-driven architectures.
- Partner with Product, Architecture, Governance, and Business teams to prioritize initiatives and manage delivery risks.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Platform Engineering, including engineering team leadership.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale batch and streaming data platforms using Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, or equivalent technologies.
