Role overview
Build and operate production-ready data infrastructure across the full data lifecycle, from raw ingestion to data products.
Own complex technical decisions and help create a scalable platform for internal decision-making and product capabilities.
The role requires engineering rigor, pragmatic judgment, strong ownership, and the ability to work through ambiguity.
Core responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch scalable data models and pipelines for ingestion, transformation, modeling, and consumption.
- Own system design decisions, evaluate tradeoffs, and document architecture clearly.
- Implement data governance and maintain rigorous data quality standards.
- Develop ingestion processes from diverse enterprise sources and build tools for the data platform.
- Apply Agile practices to data product development and lead testing and quality assurance efforts.
- Translate ambiguous stakeholder requirements into well-scoped technical work and adapt to changing needs.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field focused on system design, distributed systems, or data warehousing, or equivalent practical experience.
