About the Role
EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Data Architect or Data Architect with 20+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale data transformations.
The role covers complex data ecosystems, modern platforms, governance frameworks, enterprise data strategy, and Gen AI architecture.
The position enables intelligent data platforms, search and retrieval systems, and AI-driven capabilities while preserving strong data foundations.
Responsibilities
- Define enterprise-wide data architecture strategy and architect complex multi-source, hybrid, and cloud data landscapes.
- Design secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise data platforms and lead modernization, transformation, and consolidation.
- Establish data modeling, metadata, lineage, governance, MDM, quality, validation, and monitoring standards.
- Architect end-to-end ingestion, transformation, storage, indexing, retrieval, search, and consumption solutions.
- Lead ETL and ELT design using Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud-native services.
- Design lakehouse, modern warehouse, and big data architectures using Spark, PySpark, and Python.
- Ensure platform security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and responsible AI adoption.
- Lead presales solutioning, architecture discussions, and executive business meetings as Chief Architect.
