About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain BI reports and dashboards and translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications and visualizations.
• Implement data models and data integration solutions using SSAS and SSIS.
• Use DAX to create complex calculations and measures and apply data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.
• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability and validate data accuracy and integrity.
• Work with on-premise and cloud-based data sources to create comprehensive BI solutions.
• Provide end-user training and support on Power BI tools and reports.
• Analyze data for trends, patterns, and insights and create interactive dashboards and reports.
• Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical users and create user documentation.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Six to ten years of experience as a Power BI Developer, including at least four years developing visualizations with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, is preferred.
• A proven background as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Fine Report, or similar platforms is preferred.
• DAX proficiency, strong SQL skills, database management experience, and familiarity with data warehousing and ETL are preferred, with DAX explicitly required.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent working skills are preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Premium, and SSAS is required.
