Role Purpose

  • To plan and implement the growth and strategic business development initiatives of a company through identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's market presence.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

  • Identify new market opportunities and assess potential risks and challenges.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive advantages.
  • Analyze competitor strategies to inform positioning and differentiation.
  • Plan clear and actionable market entry and expansion plans with contingency plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of implemented strategies.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients, partners, industry influencers, and government agencies.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams for effective relationship management.
  • Conduct financial analysis and evaluation of business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with finance and executive teams in budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with internal technical experts to evaluate feasibility of client requirements.
  • Conduct in depth assessments of technical feasibility of proposed solutions.

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or IT related field
  • 4 years of relevant experience in Business Development
