Role Purpose
- To plan and implement the growth and strategic business development initiatives of a company through identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's market presence.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
- Identify new market opportunities and assess potential risks and challenges.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive advantages.
- Analyze competitor strategies to inform positioning and differentiation.
- Plan clear and actionable market entry and expansion plans with contingency plans.
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of implemented strategies.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients, partners, industry influencers, and government agencies.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams for effective relationship management.
- Conduct financial analysis and evaluation of business opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance and executive teams in budgeting and resource allocation.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
- Collaborate with internal technical experts to evaluate feasibility of client requirements.
- Conduct in depth assessments of technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
