About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assure the quality and integrity of each project, bringing projects in on schedule and within budget
- Oversee total construction field effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, specifications, budgets and schedules
- Supervise all areas on small projects and/or a subset/discipline on larger projects
- Manage and control project cost and schedule of assigned disciplines/subset of on site construction
- Manage installation, commissioning and completion activities of materials and equipment
- Coordinate field personnel work schedules to maximize utilisation and ensure work is delivered on schedule
- Monitor work progress and report against the plan
- Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities are defined and communicated
- Coordinate supply and delivery of equipment, subcontractors, consumables, accommodation and other project specific requirements
- Work with engineering in the design phases to influence the design for optimum constructability
Requirements
- Degree with a minimum of 15 years Oil and Gas industry experience
- At least 5 years on major capital projects (>500 M USD) with Construction Management and Site Management focus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong command of English
- Willingness to travel extensively for multi week periods and flexibility to adjust work location
- Must be qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa

The Role
- Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Construction Engineer Pipeline with a proven track record in overseeing and coordinating all on site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards for a high profile client.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables.
- Supervises all areas on small projects and / or a subset / discipline on larger projects.
- Responsible for management and execution of multiple field disciplines or a subset of assigned construction project(s).
- Responsible for execution of the work in accordance with the quality standards and requirements specified for the project.
- Manages and controls project cost and schedule of assigned disciplines / subset of on site construction.
- Management of installation, commissioning and completion activities of materials and equipment.
- Coordinates field personnel work schedules to maximise utilisation and ensure work is delivered on schedule.
- Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan.
- Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated.
- Initiate safety, quality and environmental processes within their area(s) of control.
- Coordinate supply and delivery of equipment, subcontractors, consumables, accommodation and other project specific requirements.
- Understand and manage the industrial relations environment impacting the site.
Skills And Qualifications
- Degree with a minimum of 15 years Oil and Gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects (> 500 M USD) with Construction Management and Site Management focus.
- Experience within an Oil and Gas operating company is also highly desired.
- Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, with a strong command of the English language.
- Must be willing to travel extensively for multi week periods and have the flexibility to adjust work location to support project needs.
- Must be qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
