Job Objective

  • Provide technical expertise in all mechanical Rotating Equipment design
  • Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
  • Coordinate, Monitor and handle Rotating equipment design and engineering with EPC Contractor
  • Work with other discipline engineers to resolve technical issues
  • Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Mechanical Rotating Engineering deliverables

Responsibilities

  • Ensure integration of overall Mechanical Rotating Engineering
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of Engineering Consultant’s & EPC Contractor’s Mechanical Rotating Engineering design activities
  • Review and approval of Engineering Consultant's and EPC Contractor’s work
  • Coordinate engineering participation in design options and business models
  • Participate in equipment sizing/selection
  • Ensure facilities designed per corporate guidelines on environment and health
  • Participate in layout reviews, Model review, design reviews, and technical workshops
  • Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers
  • Coordinate technical reviews and bid evaluation
  • Provide technical assistance during installation, pre commissioning & commissioning
  • Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader, Engineering Manager
  • Interface with Managers, Team Leaders and Engineers in various departments

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
  • Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
  • Ability to make independent decisions in planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
