About the Role
AIQU is hiring a Senior Compliance Manager for a major client in Dubai on a 3-4 month contract. The role requires 12+ years of compliance experience, team leadership, and expertise in compliance framework development, investigations, and training.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to set up and maintain a robust compliance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and Company Policies
- Liaise with investigations team for investigative counts, and identify corrective measures to improve compliance monitoring or trainings and awareness
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on compliance risks and emerging regulatory issues
- Develop and oversee compliance training, awareness, and reporting across business units
- Collaborate with Legal, HR, Risk, and Security teams to ensure consistent and coordinated approach to governance and ethics
- Support VP Compliance (Proactive) with preparing documentary reporting to regulators, auditors, and executive committees as required in dashboards, MS Word or PowerPoint
- Be mindful of growing junior talent with structured team management, timely feedback and providing complex opportunities
Requirements
- 12+ years of compliance experience, preferably within the Middle East and/or North Africa region
- Supporting investigative knowledge an advantage
- Team leadership/managerial experience of at least 2 3 years
- Technical investigation experience on internal misconduct, external regulator led investigations around sanctions, human rights, etc.
- Demonstrated experience on training senior stakeholders and compliance and investigation teams
- Demonstrated experience on unpicking and presenting complex areas in simpler form
- Bachelor's or Master's in accounting, with a law qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Professional certificates for Compliance Management, Business Ethics and/or forensic investigations such as CCEP I, or Certified Fraud Examiner
- Fraud risk management, compliance program development, compliance monitoring
- Should be adept at structuring elements of a compliance framework and linking it to data analytics / AI Automation

Required Experience
- 12+ years of compliance experience, preferably within the Middle East and / or North Africa region.
