- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all commercial & contract management activities across the project
- Develop and implement commercial & contract management strategies to achieve project objectives and maximize value
- Review Contractor's and Client's Change requests, develop and manage change management documentation up to finalizing EI’s and VO’s
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, including managing claims, variations, and disputes
- Provide expert advice on contract interpretation and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead the development and management of project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals
- Monitor project costs and implement robust cost control measures to prevent overruns
- Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis for senior management and stakeholders
- Coordinate with procurement team and ensure activities align with project requirements and organizational policies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure optimal performance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial management across multiple construction sectors
- Extensive knowledge of cost & commercial management principles, procurement processes, and contract management principles
- Proven track record of managing large scale projects and delivering within budget and schedule
- Familiarity with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices
- Proficiency in project management software and financial tools
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and resolve disputes effectively
- Professional certification (MRICS) preferred
- Experience in PMCM projects highly desirable

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for a Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager to manage all contract activity for a project of significant size and represent the Company in negotiations of the most complex contractual issues.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all commercial & contract management activities across the project.
- Develop and implement commercial & contract management strategies to achieve project objectives, output deliverables in a timely manner, and maximize value.
- Review Contractor's and Client's Change requests, develop and manage all of the relevant change management documentation up to finalizing EI’s and VO’s.
