Manage high-volume purchasing and inventory activities across multiple F&B operations.
The role requires experience in hotel, hospitality, restaurant, or F&B environments with large purchasing volumes, multiple suppliers, warehouses, central kitchens, and multi-outlet operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily purchasing based on operational requirements, stock levels, and consumption trends.
- Handle high-volume procurement for food, beverage, packaging, and operational supplies.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
- Review requisitions, quotations, comparison sheets, and purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier pricing, delivery schedules, product quality, and performance.
- Maintain minimum, maximum, reorder, and safety stock levels.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, aging, and high-value inventory.
- Analyze consumption trends and identify shortages, unusual usage, or excess stock.
- Coordinate stock counts, investigate variances, and reconcile physical stock with ERP records.
- Monitor stock transfers between warehouses, central kitchens, and outlets.
- Minimize wastage, expiry, overstocking, and stockouts.
- Prepare purchasing, inventory, stock variance, and management reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Five to seven years of purchasing or procurement experience with strong inventory control exposure.
- Hotel, hospitality, restaurant, catering, or F&B industry experience is required.
- Experience handling large purchasing volumes, multiple outlets, and suppliers.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or a similar ERP system.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, reporting, analytical, supplier negotiation, sourcing, cost-control, and inventory management skills.
- UAE or GCC F&B or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
