Role overview
The bartender prepares and serves drinks in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner.
The role reports to the Bar Manager or Restaurant Manager.
Drink preparation
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes or customer requests.
- Garnish and present drinks attractively.
- Check customer identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases.
Customer service
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take orders and serve snacks and drinks.
- Engage with customers to create a pleasant experience.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally and promptly.
Bar maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
