Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in PCO, conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events.
  • The incumbent will drive business acquisition, develop event proposals, manage bids, coordinate logistics, and deliver successful events.
  • Arabic speaking preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Acquisition: Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, associations, government entities, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic business acquisition and account management.
  • Conduct market research and identify emerging opportunities within the events industry.
  • Conference & Event Management: Act as PCO and primary point of contact for conferences and congresses.
  • Pitch event concepts, conference solutions, sponsorship packages, and partnership opportunities.
  • Lead planning and execution of regional and international conferences, exhibitions, and roadshows.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Bid & Proposal Management: Prepare comprehensive bid documents, RFP responses, presentations, and business proposals.
  • Develop conference and event budgets, pricing models, and commercial proposals.
  • Manage end to end bid process ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
  • Logistics & Supplier Management: Oversee event logistics including venue, travel, accommodation, transportation, and on site operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Business Development, Conferences, PCO, Events, or Exhibition Management.
  • Proven experience in managing regional and international conferences, congresses, exhibitions, and roadshows.
  • Strong experience in bid management, proposal writing, budgeting, and supplier negotiation.
