- Support strategic growth initiatives and business development projects
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline
- 2 5 years experience in commercial analysis, corporate finance, strategy, consulting, tendering, or business development
- Strong analytical capability including financial modeling and business case development
- Basic legal acumen to assess contractual risks
- Experience conducting market research and competitor assessments
- Experience working with complex, multi stakeholder opportunities

About The Role
- Svitzer is looking for a Senior Business Development Associate to support growth across the Africa, Middle East and Asia (AMEA) region.
- This role is for a commercially curious and analytically minded professional who enjoys analysing markets and evaluating commercial opportunities.
- Working closely with the Regional Chief Commercial Officer and Business Development Managers, you will support Svitzer’s growth across AMEA.

What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain market intelligence on customers, competitors and emerging opportunities.
- Analyse terminal and harbour towage markets to identify commercial opportunities across AMEA.
- Develop financial models and prepare commercial business cases to support growth opportunities.
- Support the preparation of tenders, proposals and customer presentations.
- Coordinate inputs from Finance, Operations, Technical, Legal and other functions.
- Support strategic growth initiatives, partnerships and business development projects.
Who We Are Looking For
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- 2 5 years experience in commercial analysis, corporate finance, strategy, consulting, tendering or business development.
- Strong analytical capability, including financial modelling and business case development.
- Basic legal acumen to assess contractual risks.
- Experience conducting market research and competitor assessments.
- Curious, commercially aware, and analytically strong.
