Senior Automation Test Engineer(Playwright)

Position Description:

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Role Descriptions/ Duties: • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and backend applications • Create scalable and reusable automation frameworks using industry-standard tools • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies • Execute automated test suites as part of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) • Identify defects, analyse root causes, and track issues through to resolution • Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and supporting documentation • Perform code reviews on automation scripts and contribute to test automation best practices • Monitor and report on test results, quality metrics, and overall system stability • Support manual testing where required, particularly in exploratory or edge-case scenarios Key Skills and ‘must have’ experience: • Proven experience in both UI automation using Playwright and API automation • Strong knowledge of development practices using TypeScript • Promoting engineering best practices with strong collaboration principles • Enthusiastic to support Test Driven Development within cross-functional teams • Passionate about testing and shifting left and good working knowledge of CI/CD deliveries • Proven experience in both UI and API automation • Analytical approach to developing with maintainable coding approaches Good to have skills: • Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions • RestAssured / Postman CI/CD Integration, API Automation, Performance Optimization
