Job Purpose
Lead the operation, security, and continuous improvement of enterprise network and hybrid-cloud connectivity in a banking environment.
The role covers network infrastructure, access control, cloud networking, application protection, Zero Trust access, resilience, monitoring, incident response, vendors, and compliance.
Enterprise Network and Security Operations
- Administer and secure enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN services, and network platforms.
- Operate NGFW, WAF, security analytics, centralized logging, monitoring, and management solutions.
- Perform upgrades, hotfixes, hardening, high-availability maintenance, policy changes, and device lifecycle activities.
- Manage firewall policies, routing, NAT, VPN, segmentation, and least-privilege access changes.
- Monitor availability, capacity, performance, and resilience and implement improvements to prevent disruption.
Access Control and Device Administration
- Administer Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, VLANs, trunking, routing, ACLs, redundancy, and secure device administration.
- Administer NAC and AAA platforms, including 802.1X authentication and RADIUS-based access enforcement.
- Manage centralized role-based administrative authentication, authorization, and accounting for network devices.
