After completing the programme, the successful candidate continues working in a full-time bank role.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist with real estate-backed lending proposals, property valuations, and collateral quality reviews.
- Support LTV validation for equity release and Lombard lending using policy thresholds and stress scenarios.
- Help structure equity release and top-up financing proposals.
- Draft credit proposal notes for private banking clients.
- Analyze income, net worth, and liquidity information.
- Monitor collateral values, margin calls, covenants, and exposure limits.
- Liaise with relationship managers, risk, legal, and valuation teams.
- Support portfolio reviews and sensitivity analysis on asset prices and LTV movements.
Credit Exposure
- Develop understanding of LTV-based lending, including haircuts, volatility adjustments, and asset liquidity.
- Gain exposure to property-backed financing, equity release structures, and refinancing strategies.
- Build awareness of complex high-net-worth client portfolios, leverage strategies, and risk structuring.
- Learn how market cycles, interest rates, and macroeconomic factors affect collateral values and lending decisions.
- Collaborate with private banking, risk, legal, and external valuation teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in any major is suitable; Banking and Finance specialization is preferred.
- GPA of 2.7 or higher.
- Graduated in 2024 or later.
- Fresher or less than one year of experience.
- Fluent in English.
- National service must be completed for male candidates.
