Job Purpose
- Lead and perform high quality assembly of lighting fixtures and components while ensuring adherence to company standards, safety protocols, and production timelines.
- Support efficient operations by mentoring junior staff, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring products meet AWR Frater’s quality expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble complex lighting units, components, and subassemblies according to technical drawings, specifications, and SOPs.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in lighting assembly.
- Inspect assembled products for accuracy, quality, and functionality before moving to the next phase.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve any discrepancies or defects.
- Train and guide junior assembly operators, promoting best practices and safe work habits.
- Maintain accurate production records, reporting any deviations or delays.
- Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Suggest improvements to assembly processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Act as a point of contact during supervisor absences, providing leadership and oversight to the assembly floor.
