Overview
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent and building codes.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate design elements and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Produce 3D models and renderings to visualize designs and communicate them effectively to clients and project teams, enhancing understanding and facilitating decision-making.
- Manage and maintain drawing revisions and updates, ensuring all project documentation is current and reflects the latest design changes and approvals.
- Oversee the work of junior draughtsmen, providing guidance, mentorship, and quality control to ensure the team's deliverables meet the required standards.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, verify dimensions, and ensure construction aligns with the drawings, contributing to project quality.
- Prepare and review technical specifications and material selections, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry best practices.
